  • Lavender Lodge at Wepham Green....5 star!

"Just returned home from our stay at the lodge and cannot praise the accommodation and hospitality from the owners enough......first class in every way. Missing it already!!! "

    July 2020

  • "Thank you so much for the wonderful stay in your gorgeous cottage.. for the way it is presented with everything you need or want, comfy bed, gorgeous treats to celebrate my birthday and a magnificent cream tea on arrival. Your hospitality was fabulous and your design taste is gorgeous. Many blessings. "

  • Great week at Lavender Lodge.

"My wife and I had a great week staying at Lavender Lodge. We were greeted by the owners and asked if we wished to join them for a drink and cream tea in their beautiful garden. The room with ensuite and kitchen was perfect for those wishing to have the option of self-catering or eating out at the many places nearby. There is a great friendly local Pub within walking distance of the property. There were some lovely finishing touches to a quality room and the owners were great at giving you your own space but they were available to help or enjoy a friendly chat. Arundel itself is beautiful, the castle is definitely worth visiting. There are many national trust locations and of course beaches nearby. We would definitely recommend staying here."

  • The cottage was lovely- clean, modern and fully kitted out (including items such as a hairdryer, toaster etc which aren’t mentioned in the listing). Our hosts were lovely and very happy to help with anything we needed. They left us food supplies to get us going which was also really helpful. This is in a small hamlet so very peaceful. Short walk to a lovely local pub (The George) and easy access into Arundel as well as the South Coast. Would definitely recommend and we will go back in the future.

  • Exceptional

"My partner and I had a lovely stay at Lavender lodge. The property itself is lovely and clean and furnished very nicely! The hosts were beyond welcoming, always there if we ever needed anything. In the property there are lots of things i didn't even think of that they supplied which was a very nice touch. I would recommend to 2 people who are looking for a countryside getaway, plenty of walks around Arundel and seaside towns to go visit!"

  • Lovely place for couples!

"We booked because it looked clean and well equipped. We weren't disappointed. Lovely in every way."

  • Things to Love about Lavender Lodge

"The welcome we received on arriving at Lavender Lodge was one of the best we have ever experienced. The property owners Sandra and Glenn were on hand to provide us with a welcome drink and snacks and check that we had everything we needed. The property itself is very well kitted out with extremely high quality furnishings and all the home comforts. The cupboards and fridge were well stocked with a generous supply of groceries to get you started (and in fact lasted us all week). The property is nestled out of the way in a small village outside of Arundel and a good pub is found by walking across a couple of fields. We were blessed with good weather which allowed us to explore this glorious part of West Sussex and the South Downs."

  • Excellent base for 2 near downs and sea.

"The cottage is excellent - compact, but all that you need is there and everything is of a high quality. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Wepham is ideally situated for walks on the downs or visits to the coast."

  • A lovely short break at Lavender Lodge

"I booked last minute as a 50th birthday treat for my husband and was not disappointed by my choice of accommodation. Glen and Sandra were so welcoming and we were very impressed by the standard and cleanliness at Lavender Lodge. They really had thought of everything from the fantastic supplies in the kitchen to the little things like cotton wool and shaver adapter plug! I would definitely recommend this lovely getaway if you want a relaxing break."
